Richard Ray Reeves

Richard R. “Richie” Reeves, 53, of Decatur passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2019 in Cape Girardeau, MO. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:30 AM, Friday, December 20, 2019 at Harrison Cemetery, Decatur, MI with Pastor Shannon Truelove officiating. Richie was born on April 8, 1966 in CA to Orle & Bonnie (Harbert) Reeves. He was a self-employed general contractor. He enjoyed tree climbing, tree trimming and roofing jobs. Family was very important to Richie, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He leaves behind his mother Bonnie Franklin of Paw Paw; children, Richie (Elizabeth) Reeves of Decatur, Nick (Lexi Rowe) of Dowagiac, Cody Reeves of Decatur, Timothy Spansail of Decatur, Kari Reeves of Cape Girardeau, MO, Coray Reeves of Cape Girardeau, MO, Faith Reeves and Natalie Reeves both of Hartford; grandchildren, Liliana, Conner, Nicholas, Alexa, Alexander and Chaz; siblings, Debra (Dennis) Parish of South Haven, Orville (Dainie) Reeves of Decatur, Helen (John) New of Decatur, Sherrie Reeves of Decatur and Kenneth (Ashley) Reeves of Lawton and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and his sister Natily Franklin.
