Mary Jane “Mary Jane Bolle” Bolle

Mary Jane Bolle, 71, of Decatur, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at Rose Arbor Hospice, Kalamazoo. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at Newell Chapel, 83313 M51, Decatur with Pastor James Abshagen officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeside Cemetery, Decatur. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10-11 also at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society. Those wishing to send a condolence online may do so at www.newellchapel.com. Mary Jane was born on May 17, 1948, to Rolland and Pauline (Rohl) Brewer. She graduated from Decatur High School in 1966. Mary Jane then attended Southwestern Michigan College and graduated from their first ever nursing class. She worked as a nurse for nearly forty years at various organizations and retired from the VA Clinic in Benton Harbor. Mary Jane enjoyed vacationing with family, quilting and loved her animals, which ranged from horses and rabbits in her younger years to her dogs and cats she has now. Most of all, she cherished her family, especially her grandchildren. Mary Jane is survived by her son, Timothy (Sara) Bolle; grandchildren, Jena & Taylor Bolle; brother, Ronald (Bonnie) Brewer and sister, Paula Brewer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rolland and Pauline Brewer.
