Christabella's Obituary
Christabella Valencia Mapaliey, 22 months old of Duluth, Georgia, passed away, Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12:00 P.M., Friday, November 29, 2019 at Heritage Chapel, 8747 US 31, Berrien Springs with Pastor Ram Keni of the Michigan Indonesian Seventh-day Adventist Church in Hartford, Michigan officiating. Private burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Berrien Springs. Memorials in Bella’s name may be made to the family. Bella was born January 28, 2018 in Niles, MI to Charles & Vera (Tombeng) Mapaliey. In her short time on this earth, she learned to love being outdoor enjoying the beauty of nature, spending time in parks with her parents, and interacting with animals. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Bella is survived by her parents; siblings-Vania & Vincent Surentu; grandparents-Yan & Elizabeth Mapaliey of Berrien Springs, Ratna Yuliani of Indonesia; aunts & uncles-Grace & Ivan Silalahi, Novita & Ronny Pandi, Leeroy & Rika Mapaliey, Gloria & Steve Suinda, Nathalie Mapaliey; and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Samuel Tombeng in 2018.
