Kathy L. Manley, 65, of Edwardsburg, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2019, at her home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 P.M Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Clark Chapel, 405 Center St. Dowagiac, with Rev. Stacey Wilder officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family Tuesday from 11:00 A.M until the time of service at the funeral home. Kathy was born June 15, 1954, in New Castle, Indiana to Donald & Roxanna (Cooper) Parrish. On June 12, 1971, she married the love of her life, Ricky Manley in Dowagiac. Kathy graduated from Dowagiac High School, Class of 1972 & gained employment with Valley Door Co. and later Robinson Wood Products. Kathy retired as a truck driver from Quality Wood Products in 2016. Kathy loved Alan Jackson music, cooking for her family and tending to her gardens. She was a loyal fan of Peyton Manning and Indianapolis Colts and the University of Michigan Wolverines. She especially cherished the time spent with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Kathy is survived by her daughters-Stacey Ostrom & Dana Barnett, both of Edwardsburg; six grandchildren-Katelynn Ostrom, Krista Ostrom, Khloe Metzger, Seth Barnett, Dylan Barnett & Madison Barnett; her great-grandson Landon Hajdaj; siblings-Donna (Brian) Wine of Sulphur Springs, IN & Mike Strome of Edwardsburg; brothers-in-law & sisters-in law-Rob & Paula Manley, Mark Manley, Brad & Merri Manley, Pamela Manley & Lynda Manley; and numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Ricky in 1979, her parents, two brothers-Jerry & Rodney Parrish, and her father-in-law & mother-in-law Robert & Sharon Manley.
