Rosemary Sorensen

Rosemary Sorensen, 87, of Decatur, passed away on November 5, 2019 at her home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Newell Chapel. A private burial will take place at a later date at Hamilton Cemetery, Decatur, MI. For many years, she worked for the State of Michigan as an administrative assistant. Rosemary was strong in her faith and took pride in doing her daily devotions. She also loved spending time with her family; her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren meant so much to her. Rosemary is survived by her children, Judy (Bob) Christmas of Norwalk, CT, Louanne (Larry) Queen, Thomas (Heather) Rufo, and Kristine Sorensen, all of Decatur; grandchildren, Michael, Merri Rose, Jacqueline, Maegen, Theodore, Cameron, Noah, and Connor; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Arwyn, Elijah, and Ezra; siblings, Joanne Graffenius of Jacksonville, FL and Elizabeth VanderWal of IL; and many nieces and nephews.
