Eduardo "Eddie" Mendoza

Eduardo “Eddie” Mendoza, 24, of Decatur, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2019, in Dowagiac. A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, September 19, 2019, at Newell Chapel, 83313 M-51, Decatur. Burial will follow at Lakeside Cemetery, Decatur. Visitation will held be from 11:00AM until 1:00PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family, in care of Claudia Armijo. Those wishing to send a condolence online may do so at www.newellchapel.com. Eddie was born on May 5, 1995, in Paw Paw, to Jesus Mendoza and Maria Arreguin. He attended Decatur High School. Eddie worked as a sales manager at CORT Furniture in Oshtemo. He was known as a friendly, goofy, fun-loving guy to everyone. He was very outgoing and loved spending time with his friends and family. Most of all he loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Eddie is survived by his parents; siblings, Claudia Armijo, Maria Armijo, Salvador Mendoza, Alex Mendoza, Angel Mendoza and Patricia Moreno; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Isaias Mendoza.
