Mary's Obituary
Mary J. Maggert, 66, of Dowagiac, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at her home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, September 7 at 12:00 PM, at Clark Chapel, 405 Center St., Dowagiac, with Pastor Boyd Saylor officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, from 11AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mary was born August 14, 1953, to Wayne and Joann (Matthews) Warren in Louisville Kentucky. Growing up, Mary had a love for animals, especially horses. As she got older, she enjoyed doing crafts, and playing computer and phone games. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, as they meant the world to her. Mary will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Mary is survived by her children, Mary (Mikel Haines) Trickett, Melissa (Robert) Middleton and James Maggert; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Carol Warren and Robert Warren; former spouse, Tim Maggert; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings.
