Linda Lou Kiger

Linda L. Kiger, 70, of Berrien Springs, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2019, at Spectrum Health Lakeland – St. Joseph. A private Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Those wishing to leave an online condolence may do so at www.heritage-chapel.com. Linda was born on April 28, 1949, in Buchanan, to Kenneth & Frances (Fuller) Walker. She graduated from Berrien Springs High School in 1967. On January 21, 1967, Linda married the love of her life, Steven Kiger. She worked as the office manager for the office of Dr. Inocencio & Dr. Faustino for many years until her retirement. Linda loved camping with her family and traveling around the United States. Steven and Linda drove to and explored 46 out of the 50 states. She also enjoyed canning food, gardening, jigsaw puzzles and reading suspense novels. Most of all, Linda loved spending time with her family. Always lending an ear to whomever needed one, friends and family could truly count on her. Her kindness and compassion will be missed greatly. Linda is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Steven; daughters, Tamara (Greg) Wright of Schoolcraft, MI and Julie (Jim) Dronen of Berrien Springs; grandchildren, Andrew, Tiffany, Alison, and Maxwell; one brother; three sisters; and loving furbabies, Abby, Katie and Emma. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth & Frances; one brother; and her favorite four-legged companion, Casey.
