Roger Lawrence Buck, Jr.

Roger Lawrence Buck, Jr, 49, of Bel Air, Maryland, formally of Dowagiac, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2019, in Baltimore. A Celebration of Home Going will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019, at 1:00 PM at Clark Chapel, 405 Center St., Dowagiac. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Roger was born May 21, 1970, in Dowagiac, to Roger Sr, and Charon (Curry) Buck. He graduated from Dowagiac High in 1988. After high school, Roger attended Western Michigan University where he earned his bachelor’s degree. He married the love of his life, Irene Gatson of Cassopolis. He worked for Marriott for over 15 years and had recently become the General Manager at the Sheraton BWI Airport Hotel. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching sports. Roger loved spending time with his family, traveling and could often be found enjoying his favorite drink, Crown Royal. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Roger is survived by his loving wife, Irene Buck; children, Roger R. Buck and Evan J. Buck; granddaughter, Dakota Buck; siblings, Brenda L. Buck and Craig L. Buck and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Charon Buck.
