Donald R. Reynolds

Donald R. Reynolds, 83, of Decatur, MI went home to be with our Lord in heaven on Friday – May 24, 2019. Arrangements have been entrusted to Newell Chapel – 83313 M51, Decatur, MI. Donald was born on August 29, 1935 in Hartford, MI to the late Lyle and Marie (Tyler) Reynolds. Memorial contributions may be made to Rose Arbor Hospice @ 5473 Croyden Ave., Kalamazoo, MI 49009. Donald is survived by his brother – Alvin (Karen) Reynolds of Paw Paw, MI and his sister – Beverly Reynolds of Decatur, MI; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents – Lyle and Marie Reynolds and a brother – John Reynolds. Donald was an avid ‘crop walker’; he enjoyed playing checkers, and loved helping people – mowing lawns, doing housework or helping in the kitchen. A Celebration of Donald’s Life will take place on Weds., May 29, 11:00am, at Newell Chapel with Pastor Tim Mathis officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Decatur. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Wednesday one hour preceding the service from 10:00-11:00am at the funeral home.
