Susan "Sue Rogers

Susan “Sue” Rogers, 63, of Dowagiac, MI passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at her home. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2019, from 1:00PM to 3:00PM at Clark Chapel, 405 Center st., Dowagiac. Sue was born May 2, 1955, to Lawrence and Margaret (Mott) Doyle in Dowagiac. She graduated from Dowagiac High School in 1974. On July 11, 1998, she married the love of her life, Paul Rogers, at Victory Tabernacle Church in Dowagiac. Sue was a factory worker for over 10 years working at Per-Pak in Cassopolis. Before retirement, she worked at Dowagiac Pizza Hut as a delivery driver and in customer service at Dowagiac Burger King. She loved crocheting and listening to country music. Sue could often be found relaxing at home, watching Wheel of Fortune or other game shows. She was an animal lover and loved her cats. Most of all, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Sue is survived by her loving husband, Paul Rogers; daughters, Julie (Mark) Brunell and Mandy Ottinger; grandchildren, Bradley Ottinger-Rogers, Chris Ottinger-Rogers and Katlyn Brunell and sister, Mary Margaret Hugernan. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Ruthy and Sharon.
