Anna M. Pott

Anna M. Pott, 89, of Dowagiac, passed away at West Woods of Niles on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Anna was born July 26, 1929, in Erding, Germany to Martin and Rosa (Warras) Zehner. She worked as a payroll clerk for DuPage County for many years before her retirement. On May 22, 1993, she married Richard Pott in DuPage, Illinois. She loved bowling and doing cross stitch in her spare time. Anna was a talented seamstress, she made many of her own dresses and sold a lot of her items at local Arts and crafts shows. Her love of traveling the world was shared with her husband Richard, where they traveled to many European Countries. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family who will miss her greatly. Anna is survived by her loving husband, Richard Pott; sons, Robert (Debbie) Rhodes, Ronald Rhodes, Richard H. (Cathy) Pott and Thomas (Colleen) Pott; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Robert Rhodes Jr; 2 brothers and 1 Sister.
