Joan M. Page, 80, of Dowagiac, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019, at The Timbers of Cass County.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019, at 5PM, at Clark Chapel & Cremation Services, 405 Center St., Dowagiac, with Pastor Kurt Reich officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, March 8, 2019, from 4PM until time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in c/o Rodney Page. Joan was born on July 9, 1938, to Robert & Eleanor (Erickson) Schlitter in Chicago, IL. She graduated from Dowagiac High School. On March 25, 1961, Joan married Ronald Page at the First Christian Church in Dowagiac. Joan enjoyed collecting dolls, completing word puzzles, embroidery and baking her famous potato chip cookies. She was also a member of the First Christian Church, 4H leader and Boy Scout troop leader. Most of all, Joan loved to spend her time with her family, especially with her two sons who she cherished, Rodney and Kevin.
Joan is survived by her son Rodney Page of Dowagiac; brother James Schlitter of Lakeland, FL; sisters-in-law, Ann Marie (Alan) Palmer of Dowagiac and Sally (Michael) Krager of Dowagiac; and numerous nieces & nephews.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents Robert & Eleanor Schlitter; husband Ronald Page; son Kevin Page; and brothers, Richard Schlitter and Robert Schlitter.
