Ruth I. Grynwich, 87, of New Buffalo, MI passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at West Woods of Bridgman. Arrangements have been entrusted with Sommerfeld Chapel in New Buffalo.
Ruth was born January 6, 1927 in Chikaming Township, MI to Rhinehold and Paulina (Kliemchen) Krone. She cleaned homes for a living; was a member of St. Agnes Church in Sawyer and a member of the Altar & Rosary Society; and a member of the Daughters of the American Legion.
Ruth is survived by her children – Theresa (Daniel) Cortese of New Buffalo and their sons-Tobias, Jared (Julia) and Dominic, Monica (Alex) Rogel of New Vienna, OH and their sons-Victor (Julie), Mark (Christina), Bryan (Jacey) and Benjamin, and John (Julie) Grynwich of New Buffalo and their children-Stephanie (Seth) Enders and Isaac; great grandchildren-Anna, Cristian, Marcus, Emma, Sarah, Wyatt, Noah and Brayden; two great grandchildren due in December and January; a brother-Donald Krone of Sawyer, MI and a sister-Diane (Richard) Bender of Three Oaks, MI. Preceding her in death are her parents-Rhinehold and Paulina, husband-John Grynwich, and a brother-Harold Krone.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December, 11, 2014 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 5760 Sawyer Rd., Sawyer, MI with Father Don Suberlak officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Three Oaks at a later date. Friends may visit from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Sommerfeld Chapel, 15 North Barton St. New Buffalo with Rosary recited at 8:00P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice at Home.
