Gail Rita Price, 60, of New Buffalo, MI died at her home on Wednesday, August 1, 2012. Arrangements have been entrusted with Sommerfeld Chapel of New Buffalo.Gail was born on January 25, 1952 in Evergreen Park, IL to Joseph and Vera (Bures) Zakar. She was a graduate of West Morton High School in Berwyn, IL. On June 20, 1970 in Stickney, IL she married Leo Leon Price. They moved to the New Buffalo area app. 40 years ago, and lived here since. Gail had worked for the New Buffalo Public Schools as both a bus driver and as a secretary. She was an avid Chicago Cub and Notre Dame fan.Gail is survived by her two sons, Brad Price of Chicago, IL and Brian (Kristin) Price of Eagle, Colorado; two grandchildren, Leo and Barrett Price; and two sisters, JoAnn (James) Starha of Burr Ridge, IL and Diane (Don) Mytys of Woodridge, IL. She is preceded in death by her parents-Joseph and Vera, and her husband Leo Price.A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, August 6, 11:00am at Sommerfeld Chapel of New Buffalo. Visitation is on Sunday, August 5, from 2:00-5:00pm at the funeral home. Memorial contribution can be made to the donor’s choice.
