Richard's Obituary

Richard was born March 8, 1931 in Chicago, IL to Stephen and Antoinette (Razas) Tinnish. On January 2, 1954 in Chicago, IL he married Sylvia Constance Skelly. He worked in the automotive industry as a body shop manager. Richard loved the water and boating. He was a fantastic Mr. Fix It, enjoyed woodworking. He was also a member of St. Mary of the Lake Church, New Buffalo, MI.Richard is survived by his wife Sylvia of New Buffalo; two sons, Martin (Karla) Tinnish of Valparaiso, IN, and William Tinnish of Chicago, IL; two grandchildren, Valerie and Victor; and a brother, Ronald Tinnish of Burbank, IL. He is preceded in death by his parents-Stephen and Antoinette, and two sons-Steven and John.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary of the Lake Church in New Buffalo on Monday, 11:00am, with Father James Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, New Buffalo. Visitation is on Sunday from 3:00-7:00pm, with a Rosary at 7:00pm, at Sommerfeld Chapel, New Buffalo.
