Jean Marie Kill

Jean Marie Kill, nee Kenny, 85, died in peace surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Robert Francis Kill, best mother in the world to Susan (Tom) Kegan, Tina (Peter) Kelly, Melanie Kill, Robin (dear friend Tim Gallagher) McCarthy; proud grandmother of Robert, Madeline and Mark, William, Caitlin and Andrew, Sara, Meghan and Matthew; fond sister of the late John (Rosemary) Kenny, Harry (Sharon) Kenny, and the late Alice May Kenny; dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.Jean was a vocalist with the Big Bands in Chicago in the 1940's, she worked for United Airlines, she was an avid traveler and first mate, and was a friend to all she met.A visitation will be held at the Sommerfeld Chapel of New Buffalo, on Wednesday, June 16, from 4:00-8:00pm(EST). Jean will then be transferred to the Heeney-Laughlin Funeral Home, 2929 87th Street, Evergreen Park, IL, for visitation Thursday from 4:00-8:00pm(CST), and Mass on Friday at 10am(CST) at Christ the King Church, 93rd and Hamilton, Chicago, IL.
