Maureen's Obituary
Maureen L. Whitaker, 63, of Three Oaks-formerly of New Buffalo, died on Monday, May 31, 2010 at her residence. Arrangements have been entrusted with Sommerfeld Chapel of New Buffalo, MI.Maureen was born December 12, 1946 in Evergreen Park, IL to Joseph and Helen (Turley) Quinn. She is survived by her children, Kelly and Lauren Whitaker both of Michigan City, IN, and James (Margaret) Whitaker of New Buffalo; ten grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Quinn of Chicago. Maureen's parents preceded her in death.A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, June 4, 3:00pm at the Sommerfeld Chapel in New Buffalo with Father Craig Lusk officiating. Visitation will precede the service from 1:00-3:00pm at the funeral home. Maureen's final resting place will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, New Buffalo, MI.
