Nancy's Obituary
Nancy Virginia Lowery, 85, of New Buffalo, MI, died on Sunday, November 7, 2010 in Michigan City, IN. Arrangements have been entrusted with Sommerfeld Chapel of New Buffalo.Nancy was born February 6, 1925 in Fulton County, Kentucky, to Thomas and Rose (Morris) Cunningham. On May 14, 1942 in Oklahoma City, OK she married Wallace Eugene Lowery, Sr. He preceded her in death on December 14, 2009. Nancy enjoyed flowers and birds and especially her little Yorkie-Ginger. She especially loved her family, and being a grandmother and great grandmother. Nancy will be missed but never forgotten.She is survived by her children-Wallace (Ruth Ann) Lowery, Jr. of Three Oaks, MI, Roger (Michelle) Lowery of New Buffalo, MI, Gloria (William) MacMartin of North Port, FL, Vicki (Jack) McKenzie of Michigan City, IN, Joyce (Ronald) Flory of Three Oaks, MI, and Virginia (David) Bowers of Atlanta, GA; 20 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Nancy is preceded by her parents-Thomas and Rose, her husband-Wallace, one brother and two sisters. A Celebration of Life Service will be held for both Nancy and her husband Wallace on Wednesday-November 10, 2:00pm at Sommerfeld Chapel- 15 N. Barton St., New Buffalo, MI, with Pastor Anthony Fields officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday from 1:00-2:00 PM.
