Margaret's Obituary
Margaret Mary Zack, 88, of New Buffalo, MI, passed away in her home on Friday, November 26, 2010. Arrangements have been entrusted with Sommerfeld Chapel of New Buffalo, MI.Margaret was born April 16, 1922 in San Fransisco, CA to Robert and Mary (Serdy) Hoder. She was a graduate of New Buffalo High School class of 1940, and also the Michigan City Business College. Margaret was a banking secretary. She was also a member of the New Buffalo Yacht Club. On September 7, 1946 in New Buffalo, Margaret married Otto Joseph Zack. She is survived by two sisters, Carole (Raymond) Bronicki of Niles, MI, and Mary Lou (John ‘Jack') Utley of LaPorte, IN; a brother, Carl (Donna) Hoder of Michigan City, IN; several nephews, nieces, cousins and many dear friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents-Robert and Mary, her Auntie Rosie and Uncle Louie Hodr who raised her, and her husband, Otto.A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 11:00AM, at the Sommerfeld Chapel, 15 N. Barton St., New Buffalo, MI, with Pastor Dennis Carroll officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, New Buffalo, MI. Visitation is on Tuesday, November 30, from 4:00-8:00PM, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Michiana Humane Society-P.O.
