Anne Cecile Mrozek, 87, of New Buffalo, MI, died at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Michigan City, IN on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011.Arrangements have been entrusted with Sommerfeld Chapel of New Buffalo, MI.Anne was born on June 9, 1924 in Chicago, IL. In 1948 at St. Mary of the Lake Church, New Buffalo, she was married to Joseph Mrozek. He preceded her in death on April 7, 1965. Anne devoted much time to the River Valley Senior Center. She loved to garden, travel, and a good restaurant. More than life itself she loved her family.Anne is survived by her children, Judy (Gary) Elliott of Constantine, MI, Teresa (Timothy) Piner of New Buffalo, and Joseph (Theresa) Mrozek of LaPorte; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her parents-John and Mary, her husband-Joseph, many brothers and sisters, and one grandchild.A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, Oct. 17, 11:00am, at St. Mary of the Lake Church, New Buffalo, MI, with Father Craig Lusk officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in New Buffalo.
