Patricia Anne Bentley

Patricia Anne Bentley, 68, of New Buffalo, died on Monday, Aug. 13, 2012 at LaPorte Hospital, LaPorte, IN. Arrangements have been entrusted with Sommerfeld Chapel of New Buffalo.Pat was born on February 14, 1944 in Albemarle County, Virginia. She was adopted and raised by her parents Nell and Bert Shedd. Pat enjoyed crocheting and was an avid animal lover. She loved to socialize with friends and was an amazing mother and grandmother. She had worked as a cashier at the Citgo Service Station in New Buffalo for several years. Pat was also a member of the NB American Legion Auxiliary Post #169. Pat is survived by her parents Nell and Bert Shedd; her daughters Diana Dunlap of Huntsville, AL, Chris (David) Randall of New Buffalo, and Lori Maitland of New Buffalo; three grandchildren Brittney, Heather and Abby; a great grandson Izaak; brother Ray (Denise) Emory of York, PN; adopted siblings Renee, Bert, Judy and Pam; and her significant other Rick Huffman. She is preceded in death by her brother Ervin “Bud” Kraklau.A time of visitation with the family will be on Friday, Aug. 17 from 3:00-7:00 PM at the Randall residence in New Buffalo, MI.
