Matthew Robert Ross, 25, of Harbert, MI passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2012. Arrangements have been entrusted with Sommerfeld Chapel of New Buffalo, MI.Matthew was born on October 11, 1987 in Oak Lawn, IL to Daniel and Carolyn (Henrichsen) Ross. He was a graduate of New Buffalo High School in 2007. Matthew was a salesman for Darling International in Blue Island, IL. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the children of Sandy Hook Elementary in memory of Matthew Ross – Newtown Youth & Family Services, 15 Berkshire Rd., Sandy Hook, CT 06482, www.newtownyouthandfamilyservices.org Matthew is survived by his parents Daniel and Carolyn of Harbert; his sister Danielle Ross of Orland Park, IL; his brother Robert Ross of Harbert; maternal grandparents Robert and Dawn Henrichsen of Sawyer, MI; his girlfriend Lauren Brown and her daughter Kirra both of Naperville, IL; numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and a multitude of friends. Matthew is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Robert and Margaret Ross.A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 7:30PM at the Sommerfeld Chapel in New Buffalo. The service will consist of family and friends sharing precious stories and memories that Matthew leaves as his legacy. Visitation with the family is from 2:00PM until time of service.
