Ginger L. Kinney, 66, of Buchanan, formerly of New Buffalo, passed away at her home in Buchanan on Wednesday, March 6, 2013. Arrangements have been entrusted with Sommerfeld Chapel of New Buffalo.Ginger was born September 12, 1946 in Hayti, MO to James and Estelle (Franks) Cooper. On April 18, 1970 she married John F. Kinney; he preceded her in death Aug. 8, 2001.Ginger is survived by her children Amy Ross of LaPorte, IN, Brenda Prusa of Buchanan, MI, Sheila (Reuben) Carder of Buchanan, MI, and Nancy Kinney of LaPorte, IN; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sisters-Shirley Tackett of Michigan City, IN, DeLinda (George) Stephenson of South Haven, IN, and Carmen fritch of LaPorte, IN; brothers-Charles and Donald Cooper both of South Haven, IN.A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, March 11, 1:00 PM, at Sommerfeld Chapel in New Buffalo. Visitation will precede the service from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in New Buffalo.
