Dorothy L. Baldridge

Dorothy’s life began on September 17, 1921 in Arkansas, the daughter of Daniel and Bertha (Jones) Watkins. She was united in marriage to Herman Baldridge in Arkansas in 1939. Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of the United Methodist Church of New Buffalo. She was active in the United Methodist Women. Her loving family includes her daughters Patricia (Richard) Graf of LaPorte, IN and Barbara (Ed) Homolka of New Buffalo; grandchildren Michael (Renee) Graf, Daniel ( Diann) Graf, David (Cindy) Graf, Maggie (Tom) Hayes and Adam (Shelley) Homolka; great grandchildren Eric, Amelia, Spencer, Carter, Alysa, Lincoln, Ben, Zachary and Chloe and a brother John (Bev) Watkins of CA. Dorothy passed away at St. Anthony Hospital in Michigan City on Saturday February 16, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband Herman. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday February 22, 2013 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Water’s Edge United Methodist Church of New Buffalo with memorial services beginning at 11 a.m. led by Reverend Brad Bartelmay. Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to the Water’s Edge United Methodist Church of New Buffalo. Sommerfeld Chapel is serving the family.
