Elsie Kadlec

Elsie A. Kadlec, 94, of New Buffalo passed away Friday, June 14, 2013 at LaPorte Hospital in LaPorte, IN.A Celebration of Life service was held Sunday, June 16, 2013 at Sommerfeld Funeral Home, 15 N. Barton St. New Buffalo, MI. Elsie will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Three Oaks, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to the March of Dimes. She retired from Gerber Baby Wear where she worked as a laborer. Elsie enjoyed listening to big band music, gardening, fishing, bingo and birds. She owned the Rio, where she enjoyed working and spending time. Her family and friends will remember her great cooking and her love for the Chicago Cubs. She is survived by her grandsons Greg (Kristy) Robinson of Haslett, MI ,Todd (Lori) Robinson of New Buffalo, MI, Shaun (Sarah) Robinson of Kalamazoo, MI, great- grandchildren Tyler, Morgan, Casey, Arron, Stacy, Kyle, Julia and Brent and great- grand dogs Jax, Cooper and Burley. She is preceded in death by her daughter Judith ‘Judy’ Robinson, brothers George & Ben Schroeder and sister Ella Brueck.
