Anna's Obituary
Anna Mae McCarty, 92, of New Buffalo, MI passed away on Weds., June 11, 2014 at Franciscan Community Hospice in Michigan City, IN. Arrangements have been entrusted with Sommerfeld Chapel of New Buffalo, MI
Anna was born Dec. 22, 1921 in Higdon, Arkansas to Robert and Amanda (Lynn) Turney.
Anna is survived by her son – Robert “Rob” (Sue) McCarty of New Buffalo; grandson – Robert “Rob” (Karen) McCarty of Grand Rapids; great grandson – Brannon McCarty also of Grand Rapids; and a brother – Floyd (Esther) Turney of St. Joseph, MI. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband-Eugene McCarty (1989), brothers-Roy, Ray and Lloyd, and a sister-Clara Allison.
A Celebration of Anna’s Life service will be held on Sat., June 28, 2014, 11:00 AM, at Sommerfeld Chapel in New Buffalo, MI. Her committal service will follow at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens in Michigan City, IN. Friends wishing to leave a message of condolence my do so at www.sommerfeldchapel.com
