Patsy Sue Paulson, 78, of New Buffalo, MI passed away on Tues. June 24, 2014 at her daughters home in Three Oaks, MI. Arrangements have been entrusted with Sommerfeld Chapel in New Buffalo, MI.
Patsy was born April 28, 1936 in Lake City, AK to James and Lela (Gambil) Taylor. She was a graduate of New Buffalo High School. The majority of her working life (33years), until her retirement in 1996, was spent as a factory worker at Ingersoll Rand in Michigan City, IN. She was an active member of the Bible Baptist Church in New Buffalo; enjoyed cooking, baking, and her grand-dogs. Since 1988, every Friday she would spend time with her family at her daughter’s home. She greatly loved her family.
Patsy is survived by two of her children – Ricky Huffman of New Buffalo and Brenda (Les) Wycoff of Three Oaks; sadly her daughter Karen Dobbins passed away on March 12, 2014 – Patsy’s son-in-law Jerry Dobbins survives. Patsy is also preceded in death by her husband – Harold Paulson (1980); three brothers – Glenn Bolton, Leland Taylor and Eugene Taylor; and three sisters – Joyce Muckway, Kathleen Sikora and Ruth Spooner.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, June 27, 11:00 AM, at the Bible Baptist Church in New Buffalo, with Pastor James Bauslog officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in New Buffalo.
Visitation is on Thurs. June 26, from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Bible Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Bible Baptist Church. Friends wishing to leave the family a message of condolence may do so at
