Elaine's Obituary
Elaine P. White, 85, formerly of New Buffalo, passed away in Lakeland, FL on Tues. July 1, 2014. Arrangements have been entrusted with Sommerfeld Chapel of New Buffalo.
Elaine was born on Feb. 10, 1929 in Akron, OH to George and Clara (Blaetus) Pappas.
She is survived by her sons-Paul White of Cave Creek, AZ and Steven (Elisabeth) White of Lithia, FL; grandsons-Nicholas and Brandon; brother-Clyde Pappas of New Buffalo; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; and great great nieces and great great nephews. Elaine is preceded in death by her parents-George and Clara Pappas, sisters-Pauline Pavlides and Peggy Pappas, brothers-James and Nicholas Pappas, brother-in-law Anthony Pavlides and sisters-in-law Anne Pappas and Arlene Pappas.
Funeral services will be held on Sat. July 12, 11:00am, at St. Paraskevi Greek Orthodox Church in New Buffalo with Father Paul Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in New Buffalo. Memorial contributions may be made to Sharing Meadows in New Carlisle, IN or to St. Paraskevi Greek Orthodox Church.
