William Samuel Conlin

William Samuel Conlin, 76, passed away in his home with his family by his side on Weds., February 4, 2015. Arrangements have been entrusted with Sommerfeld Chapel in New Buffalo, MI.   William was born in Manchester, TN on Feb. 25, 1938 to Arthur Boyce Conlin and Fannie Mae Floyd Conlin. On March 2, 1959, he married Patsy Ellen Price in Michigan City, IN. William was a self-employed brick mason and co-owner of Conlin Construction Company and served as a volunteer fireman for New Buffalo Township. He dearly loved his family and spending time with them.   William is survived by his loving wife Patsy; his children-Billy (Kathleen) Conlin of LaPorte, IN and Kimberly (John) Magro of Bridgman, MI; grandchildren-Stephanie (Antonio) Almaguer, Corey, Alex, and Justin Bragg Conlin and Kaylee, Jay, Cameron and Conner Magro; great grandchildren- Isabella, Antonio and Gabriel Almaguer and Aiden Conlin; Godchildren-Robin Brandow and Kerri Conlin; brothers- Walter (Patti), John (Mary) and Jim (Betty) Conlin; sisters-Pat (Kurt) English, Helen (Randy) Miller and Vickie (Lavoyd) Hall and his good friends-Bert Shedd and Bob Rodgers.  William was preceded in death by three brothers- Wayne, Michael and Randy Conlin.   A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Sommerfeld Chapel, 15 N. Barton St., New Buffalo, MI on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 2:00 PM with Walt Conlin officiating. A time of visitation will precede the service from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Burial will follow services at Pine Grove Cemetery in New Buffalo, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice.
