Ricky Lee Huffman, 61, of New Buffalo, passed away at his home on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015. Arrangements have been entrusted with Sommerfeld Chapel of New Buffalo, MI.
The family is receiving friends for a time of visitation on Sat., Feb. 14, at Sommerfeld Chapel, 15 N. Barton St., New Buffalo, from 11:00 A.M. (EST) until 12:00 P.M. (EST). Service will be at 12:00 P.M. Feb. 14, following visitation. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in New Buffalo. Ricky was born in Michigan City, IN on January 21, 1954 to Floyd Lee Huffman and Patsy Sue Taylor Paulson. He worked as a mason for Jack Stone. Ricky was a member of the Sons of American Legion Post 169 New Buffalo. He was an avid motorcyclist, loved hunting, fishing and his two dogs – Buddy and Little Bit. He was awarded patches for a shooting pool. Ricky was very family oriented and enjoyed helping others.
Ricky is survived by his sisters-Brenda (Les) Wycoff of Three Oaks, MI, his Aunt-Barbara Bolton of Three Oaks, MI; Cousins- Glenda Schaub, Russell Bolton and Cynthia Bolton of Three Oaks, MI and Pamela Martin and Joseph Muckway of Martinsville, TN. Preceding him in death are his parents-Floyd Huffman and Patsy Paulson, his sister-Karen Dobbins and his companion of 27 years – Patricia Bentley.
