Rebecca Ann Clemons

Rebecca “Becky” Ann Clemons, 48, of Galien, MI, passed away unexpectedly on Weds., July 22, 2015 in South Bend, IN. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sommerfeld Chapel in New Buffalo, MI.   Becky was born on Sept. 14, 1966 in Michigan City, IN to Richard and Linda (Grafford) Nekvasil. She was a 1984 graduate of New Buffalo High School. Becky was an avid teddy bear collector and a huge fan of the movie The Wizard of Oz. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.   Becky is survived by her parents Richard and Linda Nekvasil of Galien, MI; her four sisters Deb (Wendell) Ford of New Buffalo, MI, Dawn Nekvasil of Michigan City, IN, Tami Nekvasil and Niky (Chuck) Janas both of Westville, IN; numerous nephews and nieces; one great grand niece; and her best friend Cindy (Kerry) Foley of South Bend, IN.   A Celebration of Becky’s Life Service will be held on Mon., July 27, 1:00 PM, at Sommerfeld Chapel, 15 N. Barton St., New Buffalo, MI, with Pastor Jeff Kendall officiating. Burial will follow at Galien Cemetery in Galien, MI. Visitation is on Sun., July 26, from 3:00-6:00 PM, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Potawatomi Zoo in South Bend, IN or to the American Diabetes Association.
