Janice Elaine Wilkie

Janice Elaine Wilkie, 68, formerly of New Buffalo and Michigan City, passed away in Lafayette, IN on August 23, 2015. Arrangements have been entrusted with Sommerfeld Chapel in New Buffalo, MI.   Janice was born on March 8, 1947 in Michigan City, IN to the late Alexander and Louise (Howe) Wilkie. She lived in this area until app. 1989 when she relocated to WI, then AR, and finally to Lafayette, IN. Janice is preceded in death by her husband Theofilos Christodoulou in 1987. She is survived by her four sons – Steven (Sarah) Mayfield of Tazewell, TN, George (Lydia) Christodoulou of Carmel, IN, Alexander Christodoulou of Lafayette, IN and Alan Wendorf of Lafayette, IN; grandchildren – Steven Mayfield, II, Theo Christodoulou and Nina Christodoulou; great grandchildren – Chloe and Lillie Mayfield; brothers – George (Carol) Wilkie of Anchorage, AK and Morris (Denise) Wilkie of Bremen, IN; sisters – Wanda (Darrell) Gifford of New Buffalo, MI, Helen Miller of Orlando, FL, Nancy (Bob) Hughes of Cherokee Village, AR and Esther (Carl) Baer of Cherokee Village, AR.   A private graveside service at Pine Grove Cemetery, New Buffalo, MI, will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2015. Following this service a gathering celebrating Janice’s life will take place at Oselka Park in New Buffalo from 12 noon until 3:00 P.M.
