Jeffery Lee Schroeder

Jeffery Lee Schroeder, 56, of New Buffalo, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 8, 2015. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sommerfeld Chapel, 15 N. Barton St., New Buffalo, MI.   Jeff was born on July 25, 1959 in Michigan City, IN to Ronald and Shirley (James) Schroeder. He and Toni Bragg shared life together since 1979, and became married on October 18, 1991. Jeff was a complete ‘motorhead’. He was a certified small engine mechanic, and loved refurbishing old Jeeps, and tinkering with any type of small engine. Jeff also loved Harley motorcycles. You never saw Jeff without a smile; he was loved by all his relatives and friends.   Jeff is survived by his wife-Toni; his son-Jeremy (Fiancee-Karina Chavaria) Schroeder of Three Oaks, MI; grandson-Nicholas Wolfe; father-Ronald Schroeder of Grand Beach, MI; brother-Ronny (Julie) Schroeder of Three Oaks, MI; and his sister-Kelly Schroeder-Kliss of New Buffalo, MI. He is preceded in death by his mother-Shirley Schroeder.   A Celebration of Life service will take place on Sat., Dec. 12, 11:00 A.M., at Sommerfeld Chapel in New Buffalo, with Rev. Brad Bartelmay officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, New Buffalo. Visitation is on Friday from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
