Edmund K. Hillman, Sr., 65, of New Buffalo, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2016. A Graveside Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family following the Graveside from 2 – 6 p.m. at New Buffalo American Legion, Post 169. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Buffalo American Legion, Post 169, 19139 US Highway 12, New Buffalo, MI 49117. Ed was an avid outdoorsman who most enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He didn’t know an enemy and was a selfless man. More than anything Ed loved spending time with his family. Ed is survived by his son, Edmund K. Hillman, Jr.; companion, Judy Lunog; step-daughters, Gail (Kevin) Sandefer, Gretchen (Ed Brown) Miles and Robyn (Richard) Challinor; former wife, Rebecca Hillman; nieces & Nephews, Nicole Hartman, Kyle Hillman and Brock Hillman; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Fred Hillman.
