Eldon's Obituary
Eldon F. Seal, Jr., 65, of New Buffalo, MI passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in Michigan City, IN at Franciscan Hospice at St. Anthony Hospital. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sommerfeld Chapel, 15 N. Barton St., New Buffalo, MI.
Eldon was born on September 14, 1951 in Three Oaks, MI to Eldon and Frances (Horner) Seal, Sr. He was a 1970 graduate of River Valley High School. Eldon married Judi Maerz on May 5, 1973 in New Buffalo, MI. He worked for over 30 years at Sullair in Michigan City, IN. He dearly loved his family – wife, children and grandchildren. Eldon especially enjoyed the many family trips spent traveling together. He will be greatly missed.
Eldon is survived by his wife of nearly 44 years – Judi; his children – Laura (Mark) Mondientz of South Bend, IN and Edward (Jennifer) Seal of Valparaiso, IN; and four grandchildren – Jonathan, Rebecca, Henrich and Eleanor.
A Celebration of Eldon’s Life will take place on Friday, February 24, 2017, 11:00 A.M. (EST), at Sommerfeld Chapel in New Buffalo. Family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 A.M. (EST) at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in New Buffalo.
