Rosemarie G. Killips

Rosemarie G. Killips, 82, of Lakeside, MI passed away in her home on Sunday, March 19, 2017. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sommerfeld Chapel, 15 N. Barton St., New Buffalo, MI. Rosemarie was born on February 3, 1935 in Sault Ste. Marie, MI, to the late Lloyd and Margaret (Perron) Woodgate. On September 22, 1962 she married Edward Killips; he preceded her in death on May 20, 1981. Rosemarie is survived by her three sons – Edward of Lakeside, MI, Daniel of Peoria, IL, and Rodney (Christy) of Grand Rapids, MI; two grandchildren – Ethan and Alexandra; and brothers – Alvin (Joanne) Woodgate and Harold Woodgate both of Sault Ste. Marie, MI; and many nieces and nephews. She is also preceded in death by a brother – Gary Woodgate and three sisters – Jenette Gordon, Sharon Conklin and Penny Forgrave and her step-mother Alice Woodgate. The family invites friends for a time of visitation from 1:00-2:00PM on Sunday, March 26 at Sommerfeld Chapel in New Buffalo. A time of sharing memories will take place at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Private burial service will take place at Lakeside Cemetery in Lakeside, MI.
