Dawn Elizabeth Ghareeb

Dawn E. Ghareeb, 37, of New Buffalo passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2017. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sommerfeld Chapel, 15 N. Barton St., New Buffalo, MI.  Dawn was born on April 2, 1980 in Michigan City, IN to John and Lynette (Strefling) Hubert. She was a graduate of Lakeshore High School in 1999. On December 13, 2001 in St. Joseph, MI she married R. Brandon Ghareeb. She was an avid CrossFitter. Dawn was a loving wife, mother, daughter and friend. She will be deeply missed.  Dawn is survived by her husband – R. Brandon Ghareeb; her children – Emily, Athena, Lilly, Hunter and Adler; her parents – John and Lynette Hubert; and her two brothers – Matt (Casey) Hubert and John Hubert.  A Celebration of Dawn’s life will be held on Monday, May 8, 11:00 a.m., at The Chapel – 4250 Washington Ave., St. Joseph, MI, with Rev. Philip Bubar officiating. Visitation is on Sunday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Sommerfeld Chapel in New Buffalo. Memorial contributions may be made in Dawn’s memory to her family.
