Ronald Wayne Stout

Ronald W. Stout, 81, of New Buffalo, MI passed away in New Buffalo on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sommerfeld Chapel – 15 N. Barton St., New Buffalo, MI Ronald was born in Gary, IN on June 7, 1936 to the late Wayne and Goldie (McIlrath) Stout. He served his country while in the U.S. Navy. On June 30, 1985 he married Lois Taylor in Channing, MI. Ronald worked at Inland Steel over 54 years, and retired as a Sr. Metallurgical Engineer in quality control. He was an avid reader and loved to hunt, fish and travel.  Ronald is survived by his wife Lois; children – Keith Stout of CA, Kenneth (Linda) Taylor of Dyer, IN, Kevin Taylor of New Buffalo, Debra Crandall of TX, Leighann (Mark) Ham of AZ, Suzanne (Richard) Dobben of Michigan City, IN and Juliann (Kendall) Fountain of Lansing, IL; 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brothers – Jack (Donna) Meece, Rick (Rhonda) Meece, Don (Shirley) Meece and Bob (Pat) Stout. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother-James Meece.  Private family services were held with burial at Pine Grove Cemetery in New Buffalo.
