Glenn Louis Libert

Glenn Louis Libert, 85, of Michigan City, IN, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018 in his home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sommerfeld Chapel – 15 N. Barton St., New Buffalo, MI. Glenn was born on May 15, 1933 in Milwaukee, WI to the late Elmer and Kate (Torgersen) Libert, Sr. He was a counselor at Memorial Hospital in Michigan City for many years. Glenn was a passionate member of St. Mary of the Lake Church in New Buffalo. He enjoyed traveling, but most of all he loved his family especially his nieces and nephews. Glenn is survived by his special niece – Antoinette (George) White of Milwaukee, WI; great niece – Terri (Brian) Wendtlandt of Glendale, WI; and great nephew – Theodore (Jasmine) White of Whitefish, WI; and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceding Glenn are his two brothers – Elmer, Jr. and Russell. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, Dec. 11, 11:00am, at St. Mary of the Lake Church, New Buffalo, MI, with Father John Peter Ambrose officiating. Visitation precedes the service from 10:00-11:00am at St. Mary of the Lake Church. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee, WI.
