Betty Jane Lolmaugh

Betty Jane Lolmaugh, 87, of Buchanan died Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN of natural causes. She was born May 2, 1922 in Buchanan, MI to the late Clyde and LaVerne (Weaver) Burgoyne. On June 18, 1938 in Buchanan, she married Ralph M. Lolmaugh who preceded her in death on December 28, 1993. Surviving are daughters, Shirley Kelley of Buchanan, Cheryl Hill of Port St. Joe, FL and Nancy (Robert) Bennett of Crestview, FL; son, Jerry (Marjorie) Lolmaugh of Niles, MI; brother, Lawrence Burgoyne of Buchanan; thirteen grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, George Burgoyne; a sister, Evelyn “Fluff” Krone and a grandson, Troy Kelley. She enjoyed quilting, fishing and camping. Her adventurous nature still had her tubing on the river at the age of 86. The funeral service will be Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 10:00 am at the Swem Funeral Home. Time to visit with the family will be Friday, September 11, 2009 from 4-7 also at the funeral home as well as one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Rev. Jane D. Logston of the Oronoko United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan.
