Martha Ann Denbow

Martha Ann (Price) Denbow of Buchanan, died Friday, May 28, 2010 at her home, of natural causes. She was born July 25, 1945, in Caraway, AK, to the late Ralph and Geneva (Weathers) Price. On January 19, 1963 she married Daniel Denbow, who survives. Also surviving are daughters, Diana Smuda of Niles and Donna (Dan) Lausch of Galien; siblings, Patsy (Jerry) Dilts of Benton Harbor, MI, Linda (Tom) Denbow of Coloma, MI, Steve Price of Eau Claire, MI and Ralph (Sheila) Price Jr. of Eau Claire, MI; five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Martha was a stay-at-home mom until after her two daughters were out of school. For several years she was an active member at Bend of the River Conservation Club in Buchanan, a National Field Archery Professional, and Treasurer/Classification/Charter Member Secretary for the Michigan’s Archer’s Association. For her commitment on and off the archery ranges she was elected by her peers into Michigan’s Archer’s Association as an “Honorary Life Member”. She enjoyed camping with her family as well as her sisters, nieces and nephews and their families. Her greatest love was for her grandchildren, Katelyn, Rachel, Derek, Jeremy and Lydia, and, time with them was precious to her. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be Tuesday, June 1 from 6 – 8:30 pm at the Swem Chapel, Buchanan.
