Lois Mareta Bransford

Lois M. Bransford, 72, of Buchanan died Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at 3:05 a.m. at Silverbrook Manor in Niles of natural causes. She was born November 20, 1937, in Greensburg, IN to the late Elmer and Sophie (Picker) Schroeder. On June 6, 1963 in Greensburg, she married Jim Bransford who survives. Also surviving is a son, Jeff Bransford of Huntington Beach, CA and a sister, Norma (Ron) Reas of Greer, SC. Lois graduated with Master Degree's from Indiana University. She was a member of the Buchanan Garden Club. The funeral service for Lois will be Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 11:30 am with visitation prior to the service from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at the Swem Chapel, Buchanan., Michigan. Pastor Sean Kidd of the Buchanan Christian Church will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Southwest Michigan, 641 S. Crystal Ave., Benton Harbor, MI, 49022.
