Carol S. Stromswold

Carol Susan Stromswold, 49, Buchanan, died in a car accident on Niles – Buchanan Road on Thursday, April 29, 2010.She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Stromswold, and several cousins. Her father, Stanley A. Stromsold, died in 1998.She was a graduate of Buchanan High School, and of Manchester College in North Manchester, Indiana. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Buchanan. She was much concerned with the problems of the elderly, and assisted for several years in nursing home special gerontology programs in Michigan, Indian and Pennsylvania. She also worked for several years for the church of the Nazarene in Buchanan. She had not worked for several years because of health problems and lived with her mother. The funeral service will be Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at 11am at the Church of the Nazarene in Buchanan. Pastor Leonard Bailey will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan. Visitation will be Monday, May 3, 2010 from 4-7 at the Swem Chapel, Buchanan. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Church of the Nazarene in Buchanan.
