Carol Baldwin

Carol S. Baldwin, age 66 of Niles, Michigan died Thursday, August 19, 2010, in her home, after a long illness. Carol was born December 8, 1943 in Benton Harbor, MI to the late Fred and Mary Personette. On September 6, 1963 in Buchanan, MI she married Ollen Baldwin, who survives. Also surviving are daughters, Leann (Eric) Rakowski of Niles, MI and Lorie (Troy) Hudgen of South Bend, IN; a son, Robert Baldwin, of Niles; sisters, Helen Steinke of St. Joseph, MI and Yonda Lear of Baroda, MI as well as four grandchildren.Carol was a member of First United Methodist Church in Buchanan and had worked as a caregiver most of her adult life prior to her illness.Visitation will be Monday, August 23 at the Swem Chapel, Buchanan from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, August 24 at 10:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 132 S. Oak St in Buchanan. Pastor Rob McPherson will officiate. Burial will follow at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens, Niles, MI.
