Brenda Phillipi

Brenda Jane (Caruso) Phillipi, 61, of Baroda , MI died, Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 4:15 am at Lakeland Regional Medical Center , St. Joseph , MI , of natural causes. She was born to Felix and Martha (Masterson) Caruso on November 21, 1948 in Kennett , MO. On June 18, 1966 in Galien , MI she married Jack Phillipi, who survives. Also surviving are children, Glen Phillipi of Baroda , Jamie (Mark) Krager of St. Joseph, MI and Betsy (Art) Beyer of Baroda, MI; siblings, Venita (Mike) Bishop of Auburn, WA, Phyllis Caruso of Niles, MI and Tammy (Victor) Parks of Bernie, MO; and grandchildren, Dustin, Hannah and Kyle Krager and Kendall, Paxton and Payton Beyer. Brenda worked as a dietician at Jordan 's Nursing Home. She also worked hard for the past 40 years alongside her husband on the family farm. Brenda always put others before herself. She was a kind loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, who will be greatly missed. The Celebration of Life service will be Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Swem Chapel, Buchanan. Pastor Kendall M. Holder, of Baroda Church of God, will officiate. Burial will follow at Hinman Cemetery in Baroda Township . Visitation will be Tuesday, September 7, 2010 from 4-8pm at the Swem Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
