James Eugene Vincent

James Eugene Vincent, age 78, of Niles died Sunday, January 20th at Saint Joe Medical Center, Mishawaka. He was born December 4, 1934, in Chicago to the late Marshall & Alice (Finnegan) Vincent. On October 13, 1956, in Chicago he married Mary Boskey who survives along with a daughter Renee ( Robert ) Frapasella of Plainfield, IL; seven sons, Scott (Starlyn) Vincent of Prescott, AZ, Chris (Debra) Vincent of Joliet, IL, Brian Vincent of Orland Park, IL, Michael (Sandra) Vincent of Plainfield, IL, Blake ( Yvonne) Vincent of New Lenox, IL, Matt (Denise) Vincent of New Leonix , IL, Doug ( Karen) Vincent of Cary, IL. Also surviving is a sister, Mary Cris of Coloma, Michigan; sixteen grandchildren, Breann, Amber, Justin, Amy, Sean, Ashley, Tony, Jillian, Sam, Alexandra, Zac, Skyler, Abbey, Rachael, Jake and Nolan.James was a retired sales broker in the food industry; he enjoyed working around the house and had a special touch when it came to landscaping. He enjoyed his Santa Village, animals and was an avid Notre Dame and Chicago Bears fan. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 25th, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Buchanan with Father Carl Peltz as Celebrant.
