Charlotte Jane Fisher

Charlotte Jane Fisher, age 49, of Niles, MI, died Monday, March 21, 2011, 6:32 a.m. at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, IN, following a sudden illness. She was born December 6, 1961, in Niles, MI, to Owen and Charlotte (Dodie) Rifenberg. She was a 1980 graduate of Buchanan High School, where she was looked upon fondly as the class clown. She was employed in the accounting department at LECO Corporation, Benton Harbor/St. Joseph, MI. Char enjoyed running, dancing, her grand-dogs, and especially her children.Survivors include her mother, Charlotte (Dodie) Rifenberg of Buchanan, MI; daughter, Stacey Nicole Fisher of Kansas City, MO; three sons, Robert Theodore (Kristen) Fisher, Jr., D.C. of Sussex, WI, Wilson Jacob Christian Fisher, NSCA-CPT of Colorado Springs, CO, and Steven James Fisher, D.C., of Platte City, MO; a sister, Martha (Max) Irwin of Ball Ground, GA; a brother, David Rifenberg of Muskegon, MI; her companion and special friend, Craig Roy Vergon of Niles, MI,; and the father of her children, Robert Fisher, Sr. of Platte City, MO. A celebration of her life will be held Friday, March 25, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Swem Chapel, Buchanan, MI. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 p.m., also at Swem Chapel.
