Mildred D. Wallace

Mildred D. Wallace, age 92, of Galien died Friday, January 25th, at West Woods of Niles. She was born April 25, 1920, in Galien to the late Henry C & Lois C. (Britton) Beck. On December 21, 1940, she married Du Wayne Wallace, who preceded her in death June 27, 2003. Mildred is survived by two daughters, Jean Ann (Wayne) Hart of Elkhart, IN, and Janet A. (Robert) Hall of Niles, MI; two sons, John (Sally) Wallace of Niles, MI, and Dennis (Sherri) Wallace of Grayling, MI; and a sister, Eunice Weaver of Frederick, MI. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 20 Great- Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, William Beck, and a sister, Cora Jane Przybylinski Mildred lived most of her life in Galien and had worked for the Galien Public School system in the cafeteria and was a member of the Galien American Auxiliary.Visitation will be Monday, January 28th, from 6-8 p.m. at Swem Chapel in Buchanan. The Funeral Services for Mildred will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday the 29th, also at Swem Chapel with Elder Allen Ender officiating. Burial will take place at Galien Cemetery.
