Laura's Obituary
Laura P. Spilger, 86, formerly of Buchanan, died in Berrien Center, MI on Friday, October 28, 2011. Arrangements have been entrusted with Swem Funeral Home of Buchanan, MI.Laura was born March 30, 1925 in Edwardsburg, MI to Ervin and Ada (Sadler) Heiermann. She is survived by her son, George (Carol) Spilger of Baroda, MI; a granddaughter, Tracy Spilger of Sawyer, MI; and a sister, Maxine Benjamin of Niles, MI. Laura is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and six brothers. A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 11:00am, at Swem Funeral Home in Buchanan, MI. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Buchanan. Visitation is on Monday, Oct. 31, from 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Spilger family.
